About Allendale Association
Allendale Association is a place where individuals can work on their personal issues and accept their past to move forward. The staff, although sometimes moody, care deeply about the youth and are there for them when needed. The organization provides a safe environment with basic necessities like a roof, clothes, education, and food. It's a place where choices are valued, and staff members are passionate about helping others. While it may not be perfect, Allendale Association is a great place for those who want to make a difference and are willing to put in the effort. With great benefits and opportunities for growth, it's an ideal workplace for compassionate individuals who are patient and willing to show up with integrity.
I had an interview with Allendale and in the end decided not to make the jump to a new job. I made this decision because of the absolute clarity that James was able to provide. He did not sugar coat any part of the job. I really did appreciate the transparency. It was a long interview (2.5 hours) we went over scenarios and questions, then we spent some time with the kids. Allendale is a overall a good place they really helped me work on my issues and accept my past and move on on the other hand the staff are very moody if u miss them off overall I learned alot from Allendale
okay so I was here for almost 4 years from december 2019 to august 28 2023. at some points and time yes i hated this place but at least i had a roof over my head clothes on my back an education and food. Even though the food was disgusting i still love the staff here they were there for me when i needed them the most i miss talking to mimi she is my favorite staff there. Allendale is all about choices so if we wanted to run that was our choice. if the staff didn't care about the youth there they would quit the money is really not worth it and honestly i wanted to be a MHS myself until i seen how stressful the youth are making their staff for staff to come in on christmas...read full review
