This time I saw Dr. Paul who helped reassure me that my aging dog is not in pain and that we are doing all we can to help him age with comfort and dignity. We had a compassionate discussion about quality of life and I felt a huge relief knowing my pup is still enjoying his life comfortably. We also talked about how to tell when quality of life is deteriorating and, while not a fun topic, Dr. Paul was both kind and realistic.

Dr. C saved our Boston Terrier , Penny, when she was just 6 years old. She developed a blood disorder and Dr. C did not give up until he found a cure for her. After this she lived to be 14.
I have taken all of our dogs to him and brought my parents too. He is the most knowledgeable vet I have ever known!
Dr Carmichael is also the most caring individual you would ever want to meet.
