dr durante has seen our rabbits and guinea pigs over the past two years and has been so helpful with education, information, and advice. he is open to offering suggestions if there is something we aren't 100% comfortable with or agreeable to, he will explain the "why's" and "how's" about the type of treatments that were discussed. highly recommend!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Algonquin Animal Clinic! I have 3 Guinea pigs who have all visited at one time or another. The entire staff is so incredibly kind, loving and calming. Not only does Ron Durante have extensive knowledge and experience, but he has always spent extra time explaining exactly what is going on (i.e. showing me photos in a book or letting me see through the scope first-hand). Everyone there has always been patient with me and so wonderful with my piggies. I would give them 10 stars if I could & I would recommend them to anyone in need of veterinary care. THANK YOU, ALGONQUIN ANIMAL CLINIC!! ???

Dr. Durante and the rest of his staff were extremely caring and helpful. As a long time owner of hamsters, it's been hard to find a good veterinarian for them, but I will definitely be coming back here in the future! it's worth the 40 minute drive.
