Came here and had a great experience! It's a small office but everyone is so sweet! Especially the dental assistant Esme and the Dentist. They really know how to make you feel comfortable and they're really good at explaining what's going to happen and costs, and after care. I also brought my son in for a cleaning who is Autistic and they were so gentle and patient with him. He loved his visit! I highly recommend coming here. Don't let the reviews scare you. You can trust them, and they really go out of their way to make you feel at ease if you're nervous about coming to have work done on your teeth. A lot of people fear going to the Dentist, but there's nothing to fear at Gentle Dental. Can't wait to come back! Thanks again for everything Dr. Sherwin!

The dentist, Brian, was most definitely gentle with my teeth when I got my first exam. He pulled off the plaque and cleaned around the gums and there was no bleeding! After that his dental hygienist, Esmee, came in and polished my teeth; she was also awesome!

So my husband and I went here for several years. He had his last appt about a year ago. We switched dentist because I got some questionable advice about a cracked filling (filing the tooth down and capping it) which seemed excessive for the problem. So my husband did say his last cleaning Was terrible, she was done in 15-20 min . Went to the new dentist and they need to do a deep cleaning ( his breath has been bad lately) they thought his teeth had not been cleaned for more than 4 years. My tooth filling was just replaced. So would not recommend this practice .

As far as dentists go, I have nothing but good things to say. Flexible schedule, good availability when your're in pain, staff takes care of ya. Dr. Sherwin tells it to you straight.

Beware- Dr. Sherwin did shoddy work on a crown and I had to have it repaired a year later. The dentist I went to to have it repaired said Dr. Sherwin was at fault and should refund my money. Gentle Dental is refusing to refund anything and I had to pay for a whole new crown a year after receiving one from Dr. Sherwin. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to this dentist.
