I had the worse nail experience with them yesterday. I’ve been to this shop about 3 times and NEVER experienced this type of lack and accountability. I usually go to one person and I asked the lady how long with it be for me to wait on him. She insisted for me to go to someone else. The guy seems like he was in training, he cut my nails so low, uneven, and fat. I requested someone else to fix them, and the new guy did his best but they all argued with me about them being uneven. They didnt even do a clean up on my nails, like I will never go to them again. Then one of the ladies yelled at me “saying don’t talk to me, talk to my manager” it was just horrible. I will say the guy that helped me tried but he also knew the other guy jacked me up because he was having a hard time fixing it. Yeahhhh never again, I paid them $62 for this mess. I’m mad.

I’m sharing this to protect other women from going through what I experienced.
I visited Nailque Spa in Homewood, Illinois expecting a peaceful self-care moment — instead, I was physically assaulted by a male employee. He grabbed my foot aggressively during the service and then jumped up at me like he was about to hit me. After I told him I was not happy with my service. I was so shocked and scared, I had to call the police and file a report. 🚨
Since the incident, I’ve had pain, swelling, and soreness in my foot, along with emotional distress. The owner tried to smooth it over by offering me a gift card — as if that could erase what happened.
This is not just “bad service.” This was violent and unacceptable behavior. I’m currently taking legal action to hold them accountable.
⚠️ Please think twice before visiting Nailque Spa in Homewood. We deserve to feel safe and respected — not threatened or hurt.
