Set a appointment at 9 and waited 45 minutes still no one got started. I asked when will yall begin and they said soon and never started. I left after a hour. Very unprofessional

I would recommend Dede’s to anybody looking to get their hair braided in the south suburbs. I got small boho knotless in the colors 4, 27, 30 and the hair was provided (i provided the curly hair). This is by far the best African hair braiding shop i have been to in the area. The ladies are very friendly and welcoming, the shop is nice and clean, and the prices are very reasonable — most importantly, I LOVE MY BRAIDS! I will be back

I've been here years ago, but as of last year, I've gotten my hair braided 3 times from them. Twice they charged me $200 when we previously agreed on $180. They always give me waist length hair even though before hand I point to right below my shoulders. The last 2 times I could tell they were talking about me (I understand a little French) even though I've never been anything, but polite. Twice I've had an 8am appointment, but had to wait several hours because the person who could do my style doesn't come in until around 10:30am. They never said that when I made the appointments. They dont take people based on appointment, but in the order of arrival, so appointment times are irrelevant. The results always look good, but I'm tired of their unprofessionalism. I truly felt disprected at my last visit. I'm not the type to make a scene. I'd rather just take my business elsewhere. I never leave reviews, but I don't want others to experience this. I'll find another shop to go to where they do good work AND have great service. It's really not too much to ask.
