Calumet Country Club offers a nice golfing experience with a beautiful course that shows potential. The fairways are beautiful, and the scenery is enjoyable. While some sand traps need attention, the overall maintenance is commendable, and the greens are in great shape. The pace of play remains exceptional, even when the course is busy, making it a challenging yet fun layout for players. The staff is professional and courteous, with Ed, the General Manager, being particularly helpful and kind. Many visitors express a desire to return for another round, especially after having a great experience on this Donald Ross track. Overall, Calumet Country Club is highly recommended for those looking to play in the Chicago area.
The course is in good shape. The fairway bunkers are terrible but the greens(EXCEPT #18) and fairways are all good. Overall playing this course is a fun,enjoyable time.
Awesome course
The Calumet Country Club is an absolute delight to visit, with very polite and helpful staff alongside gorgeous greenery. I highly recommend stopping by here if you happen to be in the area, cant think of a better place to work on your golf game or simply relax in the summer.
