These classes are not for the faint of heart. This is a humbling and rewarding workout that never leaves me wondering if I worked hard enough. The equipment is easy to use. The instructors are very knowledgeable and great at creating workouts that get to every part of your body.
Studio Lagree in Highland Park is hands down one of the most effective workouts I do. I work out very consistently at another gym, but every time I take a Lagree Pilates class here, I’m reminded of all the muscles I don’t regularly target. It’s challenging in the best way- low impact but incredibly effective and I always leave feeling stronger and more aware of my body. Mitchell is an outstanding instructor. He’s incredibly gentle and respectful when correcting form, but also clearly understands each person’s limits and knows exactly when to push you just enough. Coaching with Amy was so informative for future classes, and it made me eager and excited to return to pilates. After just one class with Amy, I can feel muscles I haven't felt in a long time. It feels amazing!
