“I love Nelson's Salon. I don't get my haircut often, bi-annually like a ruffian. Everytime I go in, I barely know what I want. I barely want a haircut much less know how I want it to look. Everytime, Nelson listens to what I have in mind, and has convinced me out of rash decisions (I told him to take off way more hair than would have looked good, confirmed after seeing the results)
He is great at conversation and can explain to you every question about your hair, to the why this or that happens, and how to take care of it. He doesn't try and sell me products. He just takes care of my hair. I recommend Nelson to any and everyone, but as a guy with long hair, I'd say Nelson is your man!“

Tracey, the owner and stylist was top notch. I learned more about my hair than I ever have in my 50+ years. She explained how to care for my hair, which products and tools would be beneficial to help my hair become healthier and to achieve the style she created. She worked with my fine hair and was able to guide me to a style that looked good (if I do say so myself) and met my needs of low maintenance.

She truly understood the products that she sells and is passionate about being eco-friendly, cruelty-free and vegan.

As I was leaving she gave me a brochure of the products she used so I wouldn't forget. Of course, they now have it in their system but it was nice to walk off with the information. I never felt pressured to purchase any of the products or book the next appointment.

“I visit every six months for my hair cut and shape. I have had two haircuts with Arissa and this is the only salon I will go to! Arissa is my favorite hair stylist! She keeps my hair looking super healthy and is such a sweetheart. I like getting around 1" give or take cut off for healthy ends. She is very skilled as far as her precision goes and great at guiding with her expertise when it comes to shape and length. She also gives great product recommendations I should mention! She cut my face framing pieces perfectly, and my hair is very even, thick, and healthy looking each time I leave her chair. She preps the hair thoroughly and gets it pin straight to achieve a flawless cut. My hair is 3b texture naturally , but I always blow dry and silk press it a day before my appointment. I personally like how much more even my cuts come out when they are done on fully straightened hair, because then when it is curly again it looks better than when I used to get devacuts and curly hair cuts. Not sure if that's because curly hair has a mind of its own but I take very good care of it so it's not an issue with maintenance, haha. If you have curly hair I recommend trying it! The ambience of this salon is professional , clean, accommodating and spacious. The front desk staff ladies are wonderful and polite they acknowledge all the clients who walk through their doors with kindness. I like that they bring you a drink of water when you arrive if you want one. It is quite a busy and happening salon so I like to visit on early week days before noon. I think $80 is a good price for a perfect haircut and shape up- mind you, pricing varies slightly more or less based on the stylist you select. Spa Bleu also gives rave-worthy facials. I have purchased and re purchased for my mom on many occasions and she says this spot is her favorite because of how relaxing and long the facials here. She says it is her special spa for when she wants to treat herself extra if she is not visiting her normal cosmetologist that month. Her go to treatment is the 1 hour Custom Tulasara Facial 60 Min, neck & decollete, and LED Therapy add on with Paula! Try out Spa Bleu if you are looking for a great haircare and facial spot!
