On a neighbor’s recommendation, I went here for a hair cut + no-chip-gel nail polish removal and was so impressed with both services. It was the best gel removal experience. Lynn was gentle, methodical and kind to my nails. The hair cut was fantastic - she knew exactly what to do with long, curly hair. I already made a follow up appointment for my next trim. Great vibe and atmosphere too. Happy to have found my new hair place!

We recently selected Hawthorn Development Group for our master bathroom remodeling. We were very pleased with the final outcome and the results exceeded our expectations! Garen together with their designer, Jean, provided excellent recommendations and suggestions on how to incorporate function, quality, and safety features together with the sense of calmness we were looking for … and they delivered!! Selection of all the components, including, cabinetry, materials, shower tile design, amazing floor tile and unique design, and assistance in selecting all the hardware and bathroom fixtures went smoothly. In addition, Garen, Chris, Chuck and all the other working crew members possessed a level of knowledge and expertise that totally inspired trust—they were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and overall outstanding!! Even though we had the end of year holidays and winter weather, the project finished on time as it had been promised, and Garen kept us abreast of what was expected. Just a great experience. Fair pricing, great crew. Our trees look fantastic now. They also caught a potential problem that would have caused some heartache down the road. If not for seeing how nice the trees look now, you'd never know they were here. They were meticulous in their clean-up. I would recommend to anyone looking to have work done on their trees. Bravo!
Our horse is here currently. When she arrived I drove away praying.. in under 2 hours I received this photo. The peace & comfort given in just the 1st week is BEYOND perfect. Today I received Week 1 progress report and I was overwhelmed with joy. BEST DECISION MADE EVER! The communication & care plan created are so reassuring and you can tell they truely care about the horses they care for.

Extremely happy with how everything turned out working with countryside landscapes! Very easy to work with and very fair pricing. Mike and his team built some retaining walls, planted a few plants, mulching and a spring cleanup. Communication was prompt and simple. Will definitely be contacting them for any Landscaping in the future.
I have been using Skeeter Beater for years at different houses. They are effective at controlling mosquitoes. Company is courteous and reliable. I now don’t go a summer without using them.
I haven't used their services but would like to share an experience.
This morning (7/18/25) my husband, infant daughter and I were walking along the Fox River paved trail near the water treatment center in Elgin, which Apex must take care of since their trailer was parked there. We passed 2 different employees on mowers. As soon as they saw us coming, they cut off the mowers, and turned the throttle down until we passed. I was so impressed by these acts of kindness I felt I had to write a positive review.
I'm not sure if this is training, or wonderful employees, but I really appreciate that they cared about our ears, and not throwing debris with the mowers.
