We didn't get very far with Link-n-wood fence. Their customer service and communication isn't the best. I reached out to Link-n-fence because they were recommended by a neighbor who had used them in the past. I messaged them through Yelp, only to find out they are the same company as peerless fencing. To be honest, this was strike one for me as I often find it strange that a company would operate under two names. Peerless fencing is a company I reached out to on Angie's List before trying Yelp. I contacted Link-n-Wood for an estimate through Yelp. Somebody by the name Vanessa (owner) messaged me back to let me know somebody will be giving me a call to schedule a time for an estimate. A person called and made an appointment with my husband for this week. Now I received an email from a person confirming our appointment for this week but the email is signed as "Peerless company" not, Link-n-Wood. So sketchy! I messaged Vanessa again to clarify this confusion but I received no answer so I decided to go ahead and give this company a one star. We also looked Peerless fence and they have terrible reviews. I had a fence installed in 2016. The owners were super nice, fair price, good install work. Over the past few years, I've noticed the quality of material is not as good as other fences I've had installed in other houses. One of the gates opens in an inconvenient way. I've had broken slats too. I've contacted them to get the gate slat fixed, but they haven't called back. I've noticed they now have a parent company which may be causing the lack of response. Either way, I will likely use other fencing companies I've used in the past.
