Ruby M at the front desk was extremely rude and lacked any ability to build rapport with patients. She was discussing my personal health concerns at a volume I was very uncomfortable with and answered my questions in a judgemental and aggressive tone. I didn’t care how long the wait was I was not going to be seen here after she spoke to me like that, she should not be working in healthcare. Other than this bad experience the location and building is nice and I have had many positive experiences with northwestern in the past.

Zero for Alex in front. Doctor Stern extremely nice simply a noble human with great knowledge. Please train front desk Alex to learn laws properly as she was very stubborn and not letting doctor attend change of prescription properly. ….but doctor did fixed it . Thanks!

Dr was super nice and cordial. Put an effort to talk about “things” while communicating super clearly what needed to be conveyed. A little surprised how nice the whole encounter was.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My 4 year old son had a laceration on his chin that was pretty wide and deep and was taken to this immediate care. There was no communication on what the plan of care would be until we asked what would be done. What was worse the doctor only placed 3 stitches that were horribly done and came out in less than 24 hours due to the bandage coming off and no gauze put on top of the stitches before applying a bandage. For a laceration of the degree that my son had, he needed more than 3 stitches. Now my son will have to endure more pain due to the incompetence of the doctor.

I just had a very disappointing experience there today. I went in to have a concern addressed but I ended up leaving after waiting in the doctors office room for an hour with no one informing me about why the long wait. I ended up walking out without being seen. A complete waste of time!! I asked the office manager to call me to discuss this issue and of course no answer ne has called me back!! I won’t be returning!!

I had a TERRIBLE experience, not with the immediate care center but with lack of response from my physician to a message sent to him through my chart. I sent a message to my physician, and it is obvious to me that he never saw or was informed of the message, and all I got was a standard "cook book" style response from a nurse practitioner. I was leaving the country the following day for 2 weeks and wanted a refill on some medications for my chronic cough (which my doctor is VERY aware of), and the only answer I got was to go to urgent care. There was no individualized care, taking into account chronic and acute conditions/symptoms, but only the standard response. Why do nurses think they are doctors??????? There seems to be no possibility of getting a message to your doctor!

How common are bladder infections amongst elderly ? Answer VERY. Why would they NOT provide a basic URINE toilet DISH (not some ridiculously impractical tiny cup). My mother has dementia and couid Not figure out how to hold this tiny cup without spilling urine all over my hands! This is JUST INSANE. We had to go and BUY one at a pharmacy and try again ourselves at home, then get in the car again and drive all the way back by to the urgent care only to find they were CLOSED. I would rather go to the ER next time. PLEASE BE PRACTICAL AND PROVIDE RHE BASICS!

How long can you wait in an immediate care facility? When you bring your sick child just to check if he/she needs antibiotics you could get sick while your waiting. Their reason is they don’t have enough room. I don’t care why it is- I would drive to another state or fly to another country in 3 hours.If you have to go back to work or another appointment afterwards forget about it because you can’t. You are late to everything. This is the 3rd time we were there. All 3 times I had to wait more than 3 hours. This is ridiculous and for sure last time. Horrible service! I wish there was an option for 0 stars.The test results were all negative but to be cautious they will send the results to a lab. They said the results will come in 3 days : )))))Unbelievable! Really IMMEDIATE!

I have to say that every time I go to Northwestern Glenview outpatient center. It's pretty easy. the receptionist and staff are always nice courteous and friendly. I see Dr. Dana Wood regularly there and she has to be the best doctor I've ever seen. The location is convenient. It's right next to the Costco where I have my pharmacy in GLENVIEW and it has ample parking.

I have had fantastic care the three times I've gone here - two of which I didn't have an appointment. I'm seen promptly. A MD or DO comes in after the nurse. Takes the time I need to answer any questions. I wish I could make this my primary care doctor.
