When I moved into this area over the summer, I tried a different vet office in the area. That office was dirty, cramped, and dim. The care was fine, but facilities means something. Hawthorne is both way cleaner and has top-tier service. I had to have my bulldog put down in September and was so thankful for Hawthorne's 24 hour service. I now have a kitten, and will likely have another bulldog at some point, and take them to Hawthorne.
I have 20 yo kitty. After moving to Collinsville, I picked Hawthorne on recommendations. I recently took her to get her nails trimmed. In 20 years it has never bothered her. I heard meowing and screaming down the hall. They told me it was her not happy about the trim. I'm not real happy that this occurred. And they didn't do some of her nails. She's come home and all upset for days now. I'm not sure if they manhandled her or what. 20 yo, and 4.5 pounds.her claws are still sticking to blankets and carpet. Not a good experience for either of us ?
