To Davis Cleaners , I do believe my Dad Mr Leto Johnson worked for you guys for over 30 to 40 years beginning back in the early 60s and he drove from the Southside of Chicago to Skokie daily , yesterday my dad died he was 99 years old and as a kid I remember him supporting his family of 5 kids as a presser at Davis Cleaners and I never heard my dad say anything bad about where he worked and I wanna say thank you for supporting my dad and thank you for the many summer vacations we spent in Onalaska Wisconsin fishing and camping during summers in the 60s & 70s ? We were Davis Cleaners customers as well !

Yes, it is more expensive, but we appreciated the upfront pricing and honesty regarding success of cleaning a hard-to-clean garment. Everything looked clean and like new -- and my down coat was over 10 years old. They also were able to clean underarm stains from a silk blouse (black) that had been packed away for 16 years. I would definitely take my special clothes to this cleaner in the future.
