Very relaxing atmosphere. The stylists are all very friendly and work with you to find a style that's just right for you. A little pricey but I'd say it's worth it.

I give a star only because the place looks nice. I tried to call them many times this week at different time they never answer the phone. When I decided to step in someone told me to wait and added that someone will be there shortly. I waited 20 min, till I heard a customer really unhappy with the job of the hair dresser, and the hairdresser being rude with her, I decided to leave. I really wonder how they find customers...

Liz has cut my hair twice and both came out great! Got rid of a lot of damaged hair from coloring (and color lifting, all my own fault) and love have shorter hair. I felt Liz sincerely listened & responses to what I was going for. She offered her ideas, which were way better than my initial request to shave it off (kidding. Sort of) and I ended up with a very cute, easy to manage cut. It's obvious she's very client focused and she's got serious scissor skills! The pic doesn't do it justice

I love the haircuts I receive here. Always leave pleased. But I feel like there are some quirky things that one should be aware of if you decide to come here, based solely on my experiences. I have been going here for about 2 years and it's sometimes hard to get an appointment because I work full time downtown and the shop (or at least Patt) doesn't have weekend hours, which I find rather odd for a hair salon. The other thing that could be an issue for some is that I always show up on time for my appt., but my appointment inevitably always starts late. Nothing too crazy, but keep that in mind if you make an appointment - you may want to give yourself a 15 min. cushion. My haircut costs $85 (plus a tip). I have shoulder-length hair. Metered street parking on Chicago and Main - usually pretty easy to find a spot within a block. If you are cool with some of the quirks, and want a great haircut, this is the place for you!
