“Since moving back to the suburbs in 2020, my wife and I have used a few landscaping companies with mixed results (lack of professionalism, poor or slow communication, failure to do all of the work requested/paid for, overcharging for fairly basic jobs). ETB has been the opposite of that so far. Within 48 hours, ETB responded to my message, visited my property, and provided an estimate that was very reasonable. The company provided very clear instructions for payment and scheduling, and managed to send workers the morning after I paid the 50% deposit. What's more, a manager/service rep came to the property both days the workers were here to make sure they completed everything on the work order and to confirm that everything had been done correctly. All in all, I'm pleased with the work they did and the professional manner in which they did it.“

“Five stars don't do justice to the incredible work done on this project. Mike had a vision for the job, which involved removing a failing two-tier retaining wall, uneven walkway, and adding new gravel to the dog pen, the dogs thank you also. We were shown some of the current material for the wall and walkway at the Crystal Lake location. A quote was given and was kept within budget.

With the recommendation that Mike had, both walls were replaced with a single wall high enough to be level with the current yard ending before the wall saved money. We could not picture what he had in mind, but trusted the process. There was almost 100 feet of 3 foot high wall plus caps put in.

They installed a stunning new single-tier retaining wall, along with six 2-foot by 6-foot stairs and a walkway by the lake. The crew arrived on time every day, was very courteous, answered all our questions, and worked diligently in the extreme heat.

Their attention to detail was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the extra effort they put in, like moving rocks to conceal the old walkway's blocks—it made my day. Moving 4 large granite boulders from the old retaining wall flower bed to 4 different spots in the yard. The site was thoroughly cleaned up after completion. Proper landscaping was done with new seed to fix the yard were the bobcat traveled from the street down to the new wall. They even moved a flower from the spot where plywood was laid down to allow the bobcat to get the project materials to the back yard.

We received weekly emails informing us the scheduled start date for the project. It was pushed out by 1 week and the week before starting it was set back to the original start date. Thank to everyone from the office staff, Mike and the entire crew for a wonderful job, it was a pleasure working with each person.“

Now, Victor is my go-to for everything. Planting trees. Dethatching my lawn. Whatever it is, his crew is consistently awesome. Last year, they poured a concrete pad for my new shed. Victor saw how the ground slopes in the back and took the time to extend the gravel on the back side and embed it under the soil to more firmly anchor it against erosion. And he was careful when removing the grass, since using our existing grass would best mask the seam. One year later and it's like it was always there! No seam at all. His thoughtfulness and attention to details like this are why I always call Anson!!!“

“We have lived in several homes in Chicagoland over the years. MC Landscaping has been taking care of our lawn and gardens for decades. Since working with this company I have never had to hire a landscape architect. Mr. Cordova is extremely knowledgeable about all IL plants, flowers and trees. He knows what will work where and he knows why. We once built a home on an empty lot, with a pool and spa. Without any other help MC Landscaping turned it into paradise with a stone retaining wall on one end of the pool and a beautiful pergola next to it. There were lovely walkways and paths around the property. His stonework is incredible. He installed beautiful trees and hundreds of plants and flowers. It looked like it had been there for years. My friends raved about my flower gardens. But, MC Landscaping, for all of their skill, experience and creativity, has always charged fair rates. As the president of a NFP I required several bids for work to be done on the grounds and he won the bid, with unanimous agreement from the board. The staff at MC Landscaping is top notch as well. They also bring the most amazing compost for my vegetable and flower gardens. Things have been growing like crazy. He even brings sand for my chicken run and stones for my duck run.
