I didn’t know what to expect when I turned over my vintage carbon steel knives from my grandfather to Sue. There is a lot of sentimental value in them. I left them in a locker in her driveway and hoped for The best. What I got was my knives back A couple days laterlooking better than they ever have, - patina removed (by choice), blades sharp enough to cut paper, and handles oiled and looking new. They’re the same beloved knives that my grandfather used back in the 50s and 60s but now good as ever. I highly recommend taking your knives to Sue Culbertson at precision sharpening.
Wonderful lady and very knowledgeable in knife sharpening. Had the pleasure of learning more about sharpening my own knife and maintaining it. Highly recommend if you need your blades taken care of.
Sue did a wonderful job on my scissors, large and small. She also sharpened my pinking shears. I think they cut just like when they were new. She has extremely reasonable prices and a very good turn around time. This lady is a keeper! I'll be telling my friends and family to go to her for all their sharpening needs. Excellent work!
