Staff are dedicated and professional. The Ben Gordon Center "living room" is a highly-accessible safe space. It is a refuge from societal turmoil and uncertainty. These respite services are provided free of charge. Highly reccomend.

STAY AWAY! This is the absolute worst northwestern psych office. I miss one therapy session and they cancel all my future psychiatrist appointments without notice. How am I supposed to get my meds now?

I had to call off work due to my sister mental health issue. I called in for an appointment to speak with her doctor about the issues she had been experiencing. The doctor actually changed her medication but refused to write a doctor statement for my work. She stated she could not confirm that my sister had an medical issue that needed my attention. I could not understand why did she increase her medication if she could not confirm or think it was an issue. It seems that the staff are pushing to get my sister under some type of "Case Management" service that the office have, and are medically forcing people to participate in, because it is not mandatory.
