Had to find a new place since moving to the McHenry area. It was a first choice because they were open on Sundays. It'll be a second choice simply because the atmosphere was friendly & laid back. Everything was clean and quick and family friendly.

Had been following the shop for some time but never came in for anything. My child wanted her ears pierced and they do tandem, which I figured would be easier on her. So made an appointment and we went in. Everyone's super nice, pretty quick appointment. She really loved hugging the pierced lobster roll squishmallow... I wanna say his name was Larry. Lol. But he was a great comfort to her. Thank you so much Dark Heart! I would highly recommend them for piercings.

We had such a great experience with TJ! He pierced my daughter’s conch, and from start to finish, he made us feel completely at ease. TJ was incredibly friendly, patient, and took the time to walk her through every step of the process so she knew exactly what to expect. He was very attentive to her comfort, which meant a lot as a parent.
The entire staff was just as welcoming and professional, and the shop itself was spotless—you can tell they take cleanliness and safety very seriously.
Highly recommend TJ and the whole team if you’re considering a piercing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
