They and all of their staff have helped us through many minor issues as well as comforted us during the times of loss. They handle almost all animals large and small and do their best to accommodate you and your pet's needs often at the expense of their own. Liz is one of the hardest working people I've ever met and we always trust her judgement and value her advice.“

“My family has been with Lemay Animal Hospital for decades. We have taken all of our loved ones here because the doctors and staff are CONSISTENT, KIND, PROFESSIONAL and TRULY care for each and every paw that comes through the door!?They will always take the time to make special accommodations if needed. They went the extra mile throughout the Covid shutdowns to ensure the safety of their clients while still getting everyone in. The doctors get to know you and your pets so you actually feel at home. You will find during appointments that they rarely need to consult the file to recall what's going on with your animal and they will give you all options available instead of pushing prescriptions or high cost procedures (although they are equipped to provide them if necessary). The support staff are sincerely amazing people who will get to know you and yours by name (even recognized over the phone!) and who regularly perform miracles under pressure.?I cannot say enough good things about this office and those who work within. For many people, veterinary care can be a daunting expense but we have always found Lemay to be fair, reasonable and more likely to prioritize care over profits.This review is intended to be informational (although long winded...) and also a big THANK YOU for the years of care!**Lemay is a smaller office, with 3 doctors on staff and currently they are operating on limited hours. There may be a bit of a wait for appointments- depending on your needs and circumstances. However, this is exactly the structure that allows for such personalized service and we have always found the trade off well worth it. Definitely advise the staff if you are in need of emergency assistance.*Be advised- Monday morning is a very busy time and phone calls may be placed on hold. They will always take the time to give every call the proper attention so be patient:)*If you call and hear an "office closed" recording, try back- there is only a small staff and they may be away from the desk or on a brief lunch.“

“I absolutely love this vet. Waterloo is so lucky to have a vet staff that is well-trained and doesn't upcharge you. I was so used to this great place that when I left the Saint Louis area, I was shocked at how terrible most vets are. They overcharge you and many seem uncaring. Vets we've seen in other places barely check out our dogs and sometimes get annoyed with them when they're scared (Hello! Going to the vet is scary for many dogs!!). Highly highly recommended. I dearly miss going to this place.“
