Oh Lordy, what an odd experience. My friend and I were driving past after a crab dinner in Chinatown, and saw "foot massage" in the window. We pulled over and briefly debated getting foot massages on a whim. We debated it: a place with no Yelp reviews and some really weird Google reviews? I called and asked them if they take walk ins, but the language barrier was too much to overcome so we decided to walk in. I'm . . . not sure about what kind of services are offered here, but I can tell you that they chose to use red lights here. I know that red lights can sometimes be used to indicate illegal activities. I have also read that some massage parlors use red lights for a relaxing atmosphere. I don't know. I do know that the red light used in our massage room was not relaxing in the slightest. But hold on - this ended up being the best foot massage I've ever had! And I have had many in my life. My friend reported the same thing. Not sure if this place is 100% legit, but I can say for sure it's a fantastic foot massage.

There are so many massage places to choose from in Chinatown and this one is a little off the beaten path. By the way I am a graduate of massage and traditional Chinese medicine in Chicago. A colleague recommended I go here and I am so glad I did. I had spent a weekend driving and so my lower back was sore and my left arm. Anna was my therapist and her English is very limited so I didn't say much other than relaxation massage. She did an amazing job and to my surprise could tell my lower back was sore and started spending more time there with heated oils and herb blends. Decided to get a couples foot massage for an hour and sit next to my husband. What happened was us getting separate rooms and told to remove our clothes and lay down on table. The next thing you know, were getting a not so full body massage. The person that worked on me occasionally asked about the pressure which was fine on certain areas only. However, even when I said less pressure - nothing happened with pressure change. So now I'm feeling achey more than relaxed. I had areas being overly worked on and areas such as our foot not being touched.
