My first hair and makeup trial unfortunately wasn’t a fit for me, but I really appreciated that Windy City Glam covered the cost of retrials and worked with me to get me paired with a different team. My second trial still wasn’t 100% there, but I made a few adjustments at home afterward and sent detailed feedback through their coordinator (communication goes through the company rather than directly with the artists, which felt a little unusual at first but ultimately worked).
By the wedding day, they came fully prepared with all of my notes and feedback. Hung (hair) and Nicole (makeup) absolutely delivered. They were both so pleasant to work with, incredibly receptive to feedback in real time, and continued making small tweaks until I felt completely happy with the final look.
I truly couldn’t have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out, and they also did a beautiful job with my bridesmaids. Another huge plus was how well everything held up—I danced all night, and both my hair and makeup stayed looking great through the end of the reception.
While the process took a little trust and communication, I really appreciated the team’s willingness to make things right and ensure I felt my best on such an important day.

Jean absolutely crushed it with my hair and makeup!! She took the notes from my trial and completely elevated my look for my wedding day. I asked for a messy low bun with face framing pieces and pieces coming out of the bun and it held for the entire day. My hair is naturally very frizzy and she took extra care to make sure things stayed as smooth as possible throughout the day. My bridesmaids also had their hair done, and even though a lot of them had very smooth Asian hair, their curls kept for the entire night. I also LOVED make up - it made my skin look so glowy and didnt feel cakey at all. I would 100% Windy City Glam, especially if your wedding party has many different types of hair types and skin colors!!

Windy City Glam is the best! I was so nervous picking a hair and makeup team but I am so glad I went with them. From the very beginning, they were extremely professional, responded to my emails right away, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. The website and instagram had ample inspo photos and videos and it made it very easy to understand what I wanted.
From the moment I met Celeste and Reyna at my trial, I knew I had found my dream team at Windy City Glam. Celeste took the time to check ingredients in all of her products since I have extremely sensitive skin and allergies, and even had me test something weeks before the trial to make sure I wouldn't have a reaction. When I decided to change a few things from my makeup trial, she listened and made adjustments that made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I seriously have never felt more beautiful with my makeup than I did on my wedding day. I even had a guest ask if I did airbrush makeup because it looked flawless.
Reyna's hair work was incredible, my style stayed perfect from the morning all the way until 2 am when the night ended. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and it lasted all night for everything. Reyna even did my little flower girls hair and they both looked adorable. Both of them showed up on time, stayed professional, and brought such a warm energy to my day. Windy City Glam provided excellent service. My bridal party and I all loved the way we looked. The bridal party members felt like Ayna and Aneisha immediately understood the assignments of what they asked for on the wedding day, and they each incorporated and executed the feedback from my trial to make me look exactly the way I wanted on my wedding day.
I didn't find the client portal very user-friendly, but the team seemed happy to communicate with me over email as needed after the contract was signed.

Right from booking, the Windy City Glam team was incredibly responsive and even accommodated my bridal trial on a Saturday morning so I could have my hair & makeup done for my bridal shower.
Kesha and Reyna are both such sweethearts and brought calm, glamorous vibes to the wedding morning. I knew we were in great hands with them after seeing what a beautiful job they did at my trial. I am not someone who wears makeup on a regular basis and was concerned about not feeling like myself, but this fear was completely unfounded. They simply made me look like an elevated version of myself – polished and flawless for my wedding day.
I chose Windy City Glam in part because of their expertise in glam waves, and Reyna executed these perfectly! Kesha truly went above and beyond, covering up my tattoo per my request and making subtle changes so my wedding day makeup photographed even better than my trial. She also returned the next morning to do my makeup again for my second ceremony, and went as far as to touch up my hair and help me into my dress when my mom and sister were nowhere to be found.

All the girls seemed really happy with their hair and makeup (makeup done by Jean and hair by Pamela) . I've only had my makeup professionally done a handful of times and don't wear a lot of makeup day-to-day, so finding the right artist was really important to me. I wanted someone who could make me feel glamorous without going over the top or looking like a different person and Cat delivered exactly that with her signature soft glam look. I'm usually a little nervous getting my makeup done, but from the trial alone I just knew it was going to be perfect. And my wedding day makeup was just as beautiful. Cat also did my bridal hair, and when the day-of style came out a little different than the trial, she didn't hesitate — she restarted from scratch and checked in along the way to make sure I was happy. That meant so much to me. Cat and her team were prompt, professional, and such a pleasure to have around on such a big day.
