We first found Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic about 12 years ago, shortly after moving to Chicago, when our two dogs simply needed their regular check-ups. At the time, we lived only a couple of blocks away. I had Dr. Milkowski and her team check out my cat and she was great at explaining all my options and answering any questions when it came to my concerns. Yes you have to put down around $80 deposit but if you show up on time then it just gets put towards your bill. Overall this clinic is a good choice that doesn’t price gouge.

By far the best vet in Chicago. We have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy, Dr. Mowry is one of the kindest Vets, and all of the vet techs are as well. Everyone is patient, friendly, and they really assure you your pet is in the best hands. One of the best things I found about them is their responsiveness, we could get our dog seen same day almost any time during business hours and they don’t charge outrageous fees like you would see at an emergency vet. We are moving out of the city and going to miss them terribly, so if you’re in Chicago I would highly recommend!
