The Barberchop has been a true part of the neighborhood for years, and it’s great to see that legacy continue under Jimmy’s ownership. Since taking over about a year ago, Jimmy has kept the same level of professionalism, consistency, and welcoming atmosphere that the community has come to know and appreciate.
You can tell these guys genuinely care about their clients and the people walking through the door. Great cuts, great conversation, and the kind of place where everyone feels comfortable the moment they walk in. It’s hard to find businesses that still have that real neighborhood feel, and this shop absolutely does.

Come see my guy Selvin here! He’s the man and always gets my hair right. Been going to him for almost 10 years now. Everyone in the shop is super friendly too. Great spot all around, highly recommend
It was my first time there and I got Selvin Soval to cut my hair. He was amazing. He paid attention to detail and listened to me as how I wanted my haircut. When he was done it was the best haircut I have had in a long time. Since it was my first time there they honored the $25 first time fee. The price is what caught my eye when looking for a barbershop. I would really like to go back there but I'm 74 years old and I'm living on a modest Social Security. I can't afford the $50 price. I wish they would give older senior citizens like me a $25 senior discount because I may be old but I like what hair I have left to look good and Silvin fits that bill. I... read full review
