I tried to do a rental reference check for a potential tenant and they told me they do not do rental reference checks...at all. In 15 years in business, I've never had that happen. Prospective tenant said the building was taken over by new management and it was bad. Now I see why.
I normally would not take complaints to the internet, but after countless unanswered emails and attempts to contact management, I feel like I have no other choice.
My apartment at the Shoreham flooded on May 15, 2026 (almost 2 weeks ago) due to a leak caused by the building while filling the pool, impacting multiple units and floors. Since then, management has provided ZERO communication or support despite many residents being displaced and my personal belongings being damaged.

In reading about one property Waterton acquired in Atlanta, 903 Peachtree, the concerns (as alleged on Google reviews) regarding security and cleanliness were extremely concerning to me. Based on what I've read, I would never consider renting at a property in Waterton's portfolio.
