Based on the reviews, Sunshine Psychiatry Wellness Center is a Chicago-based clinic where patients have great experiences. The staff, including Abigail and Dr. Abbey, are very kind and go above and beyond with their care. Abigail educates patients on products and provides wonderful service, while Dr. Abbey welcomed a veteran who was not accustomed to receiving assistance. Patients have made progress through therapy and appreciate the compassionate, informed, ethical care. The staff takes their time and listens, which is a welcome change for those who have struggled to find such support. One reviewer noted that their provider, Doug Nyenke, is not actually with Sunshine but is in the same building. Overall, the clinic is highly recommended for those needing help, especially during difficult times.
So grateful for Nurse Ivy and Chris. They are a phenomenal team who lead with empathy and grace. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a truly holistic experience. Not to mention Chris is so attentive to all administrative questions.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sunshine Psychiatry, especially Sherann Ivy, NP. She is absolutely the best! From the moment you meet her, she makes you feel heard, valued, and understood. She never rushes through appointments and always takes the time to truly listen and care about what you’re going through.
I am so grateful I was referred to her. The entire staff is just as amazing—kind, professional, and incredibly responsive. Whenever I’ve needed paperwork assistance, they always complete any documentation needed and have always worked hard to communicate promptly. They genuinely care about their patients.

I really LOVE this clinic, the staff are extremely helpful, especially considering I'm crazy and can be a pain in the ass. Dr. Ivy is an absolute goddess and so smart she knows how to treat a patient with addiction problems and other issues. She's a wonderful person and without a doubt she has saved my life. I have nothing but love for her because If it wasn't for her I'd probably be homeless in a ditch somewhere. Not even kidding. Everyone who works there is really nice and helpful. They call or email to confirm you're coming to your appointment that day, my appointment was for 1:30 and I didn't even have to wait I was sitting in front of Dr. Ivy at 1:30.
