I always come here to get parts and never had an issue until now, the one thing I hate is being lied and get one over on me. I went in for a flame sensor for a heater. they gave me a Chinese brand, I asked for OEM and they gave me the same Chinese sensor with the name clearly stamped on there. I literally ordered that same brand on Amazon and it didn't work for me and they tried playing it off as OEM. I HADNT EVEN DROVE OFF asked for a refund because I knew It wouldn't work and they told me no refunds on electronics. in the end, they still gave me a refund (bare minimum they could of done) but the fact that they tried to play it off as an OEM with nordyne bag that was clearly ripped open. Zero integrity. never going there again.

They were open on a Sunday, I had my furnace blower wheel explode when it was 3 degrees out.... South Chicago Plumbing and Heating Supply not only had the part I needed, it was $40 cheaper than I could order one online and I had it picked up and replaced quicker than I could have had a $200 emergency call scheduled and I still had time to set down for the Bears game by 5:30... They saved me in pinch, so they will be my go to from now on!

Above and beyond for the community. Would rather spend an extra dollar with them because they actually know their shit and will not steer you wrong. You cannot buy experience and honesty.

We went there for an obscure adapter for the kitchen sink. They had the part. Great service, reasonable prices. Close to home. No need to go to a big box store.

Needed a furnace igniter day of and no place had the exact same kind I needed. Not ace hardware menards or home depot. Called them ahead of time that we were going in late and they said they would wait and bless them because they had the one I needed and waited for us after closing time. I can not express how helpful and friendly they were. I really appreciate this place and will go back there anytime I have a similar issue

My family used to buy our supplies here back in the late 70s and early 80s. The family owners were honest and hard workers. I was just a boy then I'm now 51 and in Fort Worth TX, I can't belive this store is still there. I hope it's there forever.
