I can always count on Sal at Sonar Electrical. In the past several years that I've been in Evanston I've lived in buildings that were over 100 years old. No matter what he encounters with old wiring and the like, Sal can always figure out what can be done to bring us back to safety He's genuinely pleasant, knowledgeable, experienced and an amazing problem solver. He's my go to!

I want to echo all of the other great reviews here. Sal is wonderful. I called him to install some smart switches and also to correct the wiring on a couple of overhead lights I had that had never been wired to switches. He did great work, had some really good suggestions, and was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be calling him again with any other needs, and I definitely recommend others call him as well!

I called Sal on monday at 6 PM. He came at 6:30 PM. Our bathroom's power stopped working from an outage. When he came to our house, he was very friendly and intelligent. He looked at the outlets and circuits for 15 minutes and he quickly found out what the problem was. He also gave us some tips on what to do when we experience this issue again. Even though I wasn't that knowledgeable about the subject, he gave detailed descriptions on what was wrong with the outlet and how he was going to fix it. I will definitely contact him in the future regarding electric related problems.
