This was my first experience going to the Africans and I will never go again! My Braider that has been doing my hair for some years is out of town so she wasn't able to do my hair. I was looking up different braiding shops I have an event this coming Saturday and I wanted some braids I came across this shop. I always read reviews first I saw good and bad but I know every one experience is different. So I booked over the phone for yesterday which was July 14th at 10:30 when I got there no one was there so I called the owner was pulling up I thought she was the one who was going to do my hair but she didn't the person that did my hair came at 12pm and didn't start til 12:30. I will say the shop is clean very professional setting but unprofessional as far as business and prices I wanted medium boho braids from the looks for my hair they look like small boho when I called to ask bout the medium boho I was giving 215 then after a hour of her doing my hair I asked how much this lady said 300!!! How??? She said they have to check your hair out she left saying my hair wasn't healthy and I know that's a lie I have a real hairstylist that takes care of my hair for years and she lets me know when my hair is or it needs some work. They are a OVERPRICED SHOP!! That making up prices as they go!! I will never go back to this shop!!

Get my locs done here and this woman is incredible. I really love the environment they have here as they do their best to make you feel at home. A lot of people mention they don't like that they speak in a different language but I love to talk to them about their culture and I figure as long as my hair is done right, speak in the language you best communicate in. Overall elated and will continue to get my hair done at this shop with these wonderful ladies.

I LOVE MY HAIR!!! I just got boho braids for the first time and they are amazing! I have worn my head shaved for years and have recently decided to grow it so, it's only about 2-3 inches long and quite thick so the fact that Tereese was able to braid it and braid it beautifully is a feet all in itself! I loved my experience and I love, love, love my hair❣️
