I used to live down the street, so I thought I'd give it a try. Now I would never go anywhere else for my haircut. No matter where I live in the city, I come here. All of the ladies do a great job and are very friendly.

Silvia gave me my first haircut in the country, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She's precise, professional, and really takes the time to get it right. The cut was clean, stylish, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a go-to stylist in Downtown

Really upset with how my hair came out. Went in for a trim since I was growing my hair out. Told the stylist Nicole that i only wanted to clean it up and said multiple times I was growing it out so it was long enough to fall under its own weight. Still, she managed to shave down the sides and took way too much off the top. I've lost months of progress.

I've been getting my hair cut exclusively at Originals for around 3 years now and I simply can't say enough positive things about the salon and everyone here. I'm really picky with my haircut and Nicole nailed it years ago - quickly earning the privilege of being the only person who cuts my hair ever since! All of the stylists are patient, kind, and treat everyone with respect. On top of all that, they're very competitively priced. I recommend them to anyone who will listen and am truly thankful I found them!

My husband and I came here for our first haircuts, and we absolutely loved them! I completely missed the name of the lovely hairdresser who worked her magic, but she was amazing. Hands down the best cut I’ve had in the city, and I’m already excited to come back!

I go here (usual barber is Viviana Castro) because it’s the best haircut in Chicago (I get a high fade into length at the top, a more difficult cut to nail). Trust me, I’ve been around and paid for $100 haircuts in the city. The price is the cheapest in the city, but that’s not why I go here. Simply because it’s the best.

She gave me the opposite haircut I asked for when I specifically said, “I want to maintain as much length as possible. Clean the side and back but the top is good, just blend where you cut.” She proceeded to give me nearly a buzz cut. Lil closer on the sides it’d been a military high & tight. I’m giving two stars because she was nice and had availability on short notice.

Had such a great first haircut here. Luli was a joy to talk to, and she really took her time to give me the best possible cut. I usually go to Great Clips but will be going here from now on. The price was about the same, but they really take pride in their work and wash and cut.
