Northwestern Vision Center in Evanston and their doctors and technicians are amazing! Many thanks to Dr. David Palmer for referring me in to see Dr. Mezbur for contact lenses. I am a former patient of Dr. Janpol (spelling?). I was a patient of his from approximately 1998 through 2005 as a patient suffering from Pars Planitis (which is an extremely rare eye disease that is sometimes linked to MS). Dr. Janpol is very knowledgeable and the top optometrist in his field of study. He saved my vision when I was still in highschool. The thought of losing my vision and being disabled is a horrible thought, but Dr. Janpol is my savior. I even chose my university I attended based of the fact he had a trusted colleague at that school (University of Iowa) my Pars Planitis was that bad. Dr. Janpol has amazing bed side manner!!!
Monique (certified optician) at the downtown location is the actual best. The world needs more people like this... Thorough, kind, patient, highly skilled, and witty. You'll feel like the only person on their agenda for the week.
