I have been to this urgent care many times with all positive experiences. They work on an appointment system, so if people come in early and all the appointments are taken for the day, then they stop accepting patients much earlier than posted hours.All you need to do is download the NorthShore connect app and you can make an appointment from the comfort of your own home for a time that works well for you. I find them to run very on time for the most part which is nice because you don’t want to sit in a waiting room full of sick people.In terms of the care team, the doctors PAs, and techs have always been competent, courteous, and polite. The negative reviews for this center surprise me because I've been here twice now, and I have no complaints at all. Both times, I didn't make an appointment but was able to be seen within an hour. The receptionist took extra steps to help me when I had a problem with my insurance, and all of the medical staff I've spoken to are knowledgeable, polite, and very nice. When I expressed my disinterest in going to the ER, they understood and did everything they could l to get me treated here, leaving that as a last resort. Our family should get a punch card for how often we visit this Immediate Care Center, but today's appointment is the first one (ever) to merit a 5-star review. My 5yo daughter was seen by Sara Perry (PA), who was simply incredible with her. My daughter felt miserable and was dreading a throat swab after a bad experience last time, and Sara was so kind, SO patient, warm, funny, and gentle. She explained things to my 5yo, asked her questions to put her at ease, didn't try to rush or pressure her, and provided her with excellent medical care. Sara, if you see this, you made our day and we are so thankful for your kindness and care.
