Never thought I would need help with a divorce, but found Patrick Markey through the Illinois bar association and was very glad I did. He and his assistant, Connie, were incredibly helpful and reassuring in my time of need. They communicated well and always in a timely fashion, laying out clearly what I needed to do. They also were accurate in assessing the inadequacy of the offer from my now ex-wife’s lawyer and managed to quickly resolve that into significantly better counter/offer that was within the guidelines provided by the state. Long story short. He very quickly got my divorce case through the legal system and got me divorced (which is what I have been desperately wanting)
During our court case he not only had one angle of attack to win our case but 3. Fortunately, the first angle was all the judge needed to hear. In the judges words “I agree with Patrick word for word”.
I don’t know what a “normal divorce” is like but the friends of mine that have gotten divorced are shocked by
1) how much less I paid than them
2) how quickly I was able to get divorced
3) me not owing my ex ANYTHING!
