Based on the reviews, LakeShore Cuts is a premier barbershop in Chicago's Edgewater community. The staff is courteous, professional, and kind, offering phenomenal service in a great space and ambiance. Daniel is a really nice guy who gives excellent haircuts, working cleanly and precisely to understand what clients are looking for. Brenda does a nice job, is personable, friendly, and patient. She has amazing attention to detail, listens to exactly what clients want, and does not rush the haircut. She truly cares about people walking away with the haircut they are looking for. Walk-ins are always welcome. The shop provides high-quality men's and kids' haircuts, including classic cuts, fades, beard trims, head shaves, and braiding services like cornrows and box braids. Student discounts are available.
This place is great, and I’ll definitely be back. Brenda did an excellent job cutting my hair. In the past, barbers would often take over an hour just to do a mid fade, but that wasn’t the case here. She was efficient and did a great job without ever making the process feel rushed.
She also made me feel very comfortable throughout the haircut. I tend to sweat a lot, and Brenda was quick to make sure I stayed cool and comfortable. I really appreciated her attention to detail.
