Took my best friend Derrick here for a teddy bear / lions mane cut yesterday and the groomer did an excellent job! The only thing, the price was listed at $110, and I put my deposit down for $35, and charged $130 (so I owed $90). There was no explanation for this price change.
I was very nervous to leave my baby here at first because this is a new groomer and it’s a shared dog and cat facility, plus my cat will throw hands while being groomed. I met the groomer and she was so pleasant, gentle, and trustworthy that I knew my best friend was in good hands. My shorkie always smells amazing when I pick him up. He loves Mel & Jo and the kids at the shop. It’s so close to where I live, I can walk to pick him up. They do a great job and I’m grateful they’re in Humboldt.

I have to say these ladies do a great job! I have been taking my golden retriever since they opened and I’m always happy with the outcome. They pretty much know what they are doing and go with it. My dog is always leaving there fresh and looking good lol. I really appreciate all the hard work they do.
