I got my hair cut by Diane on 11/18/2023, and was extremely pleased with the results. I was in the chair promptly at 9:30 (my appointment time), and she was very patient and helpful. She also taught me a little something about hair growth, which was great. I paid $40 for a bald fade, which I felt was reasonable, and though I brought cash (preferred method of payment), she did accept a Zelle transfer. I'll be back for sure, and I highly recommend this shop.

Wonderful place to relax and get groomed up enjoy good conversation and answer the question of the day. Diverse personalities among the barbers shoot pool while you wait. All in all a relaxing experience.

The place is an institution. Filled with Black history and local characters. Prices are just high enough to keep the riffraff out; not that the owner would allow any thuggery in the shop anyway. She is a tough no nonsense cookie, that will give you a mean cut. Any barber in the place will give you a good haircut. My only complaint is that the towels are a little dingy.
