The prices are very reasonable, and the place has a cozy "at-home" vibe with great music and a nice plant collection. The washers are efficient and easy to use, and the overall atmosphere is friendly and respectful, making it a convenient and enjoyable spot for the local community.
The change machine can be a little frustrating—it kept rejecting my bills several times. Other than that, the washers and dryers are really affordable. They also have some books you can read while waiting for your laundry, which is a nice touch. Overall, it’s a pretty good place to do laundry.

This place is great. I have had many interactions with different people here. I used to go around to the side of the building and eat my slurpees on the chairs with my friends. One time I saw a nice old lady out there struggling to open a pickle jar and I felt bad. I also talked with a middle aged man about his trauma regarding his late wife, which was sad. This Laundromat has been a definitive location that contributed immensely towards my personal growth. Throughout all the highs and lows, Joan's Family Pride has been there. Overall, this laundromat should be serving Norwood Park, NOT laundry world.
