Here is why: Most companies I called were not willing to come to my home to see the complexity of the job and to accurately measure for the needed interior railings and bannisters. Chicago Irona Railings and More was. Then they went above and beyond to take into account my timing needs due to upcoming hip surgery. The work was professional, caring and all at a fair price. Fast, reliable, high quality--so grateful I found this place. Other firms quoted us much higher prices for simple repair of rusted-through outdoor stair railing leg and/or took weeks to respond (or didn't respond). Andrzej answered on the first ring, sent a job quote (flat fee, not hourly) next day, and completed the repair a couple of days later--on a weekend! Highest quality workmanship: Removed broken leg piece embedded in cement stairway, replaced and rewelded new leg embedded into cored-out hole in cement, painted it perfectly, all in a little over an hour. Unbelievable! Sometimes but rarely firms exceed my expectations; this one set a new and rather high bar.... read full review
