Dean is a true artist. From my very first visit, I felt really comfortable at the studio. The energy is always positive and calming, and the environment feels welcoming and relaxing every time. I always have a great experience and leave feeling so happy with the results.
Dean is the absolute best, and I am the worst client for taking 4 years to write a review. He explains everything he’s going to do before doing it, so there are no surprises. He makes you feel extremely comfortable in his space while he is working his magic (I usually fall asleep because of how comfortable I am). My eyebrows are perfection every single time once he’s done, can confirm the facials are fabulous as well. Dean allows me to be my whacky-ass self and I truly love him for that, whether it’s listening to my crazy happenings in my life, falling asleep, or not being able to sit still. I’ve been seeing Dean at Illume for years!! I will never go anywhere else for my brows and facials. If I ever move from Chicago I’ll have to travel back to see Dean. The space feels like a spa experience, Dean’s work is incredible, and he makes me feel so comfortable! He’s kind and funny, while also being highly skilled. He really cares about his work and clients, is always learning new things, and willing to teach about skin care products. It’s like hanging out with a best friend who is AMAZING at brows and facials. I’ve gotten lash tinting, brow tinting, facials…all top notch. Highly recommend to anyone!!
