I come once a month for maintenance now. I started about 15 years ago with complaints about sciatica. Dr. Balen put me through treatments and the pain has been gone for years. Every once in a while my body gets misaligned because I miss treatments. However, once I return Dr. Balen gets things back to normal. I also had an issue that had me hospitalized. The doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with me despite the fact that I thought I was having heart attacks. Dr. Balen evaluated me and found I had some ribs that were squeezing a nerve that created that feeling. After a few treatments the pain was gone. I will continue going as long as I am alive. I have been experiencing some insomnia for several months, so Hyde Park Chiropractic Wellness Center came highly recommended by my GM, Y. Oby. My 1st visit with Dr. Balan was amazing. I felt heard & safe, something I don't always feel as a brown person.
Shout out to Dr. Balan's assistant, Ms. Nicole for jumping through hoops in getting appointment on such a short notice. I'm already looking forward to seeing you all next week!

Dr. Balan is skilled,. professional, and very caring to each patient she services. Her knowledge of holistic medicine is phenomenal. Her Staff members are pleasant and knowledgeable making every visit a Win-Win for me.
