My mother recently moved here from Florida and wanted to try somewhere close to her new home. She had had a lot of bad hair experiences, but since she started seeing John Barrall she has been thrilled, in more ways than one. Her hair looks great: the color, the cut, and the style. But just as important is how the staff treat her. They are kind, patient, accommodating, and even help her arrange rides home. She is cared for there in all the best ways possible. They even make her nails fabulous! Reader, you couldn't be in better hands than at this salon.

Rita is great - she is my go-to pedicurist. I have had ingrown toenail issues and my feet are sort of sensitive, and she does a wonderful job. In fact, since I've been going to her my toenails are no longer growing into my toes and my feet feel a lot better.

My spouse had been going to John Barrall for quite a while when my barber (ok, she called herself a hair stylist--but guys don't do that, right?) moved out of the area. She suggested I go to John. Me, go to a "Beauty Spa?" Grumble...growl...oh, ok. That was many years ago; I'm still going. John is good. Very good. And it helps that he's a great guy to know; you're always welcome. And yah, guys, you can go to a Beauty Spa and still be a Guy, OK? (For the mundane details, prices are very fair, skill is excellent, and there's always parking in the building for a small fraction of what you pay downtown.)
