We typically have good conversations and he takes his time in addressing my haircut preferences. The barbershop is clean and the barbers are very professional in going about their business.

Funks is an awesome shop, love the vibes and all of the barbers are very welcoming. I highly recommend asking for Miguel, been going to him for over a year now and there’s nobody else I trust with my hair! Even when I don’t know what style I want, it always ends up looking good. He is a professional and will always have my business!

I have to say, as a gay woman with an undercut I don’t always feel welcome in a barbershop or a hair salon, that said the staff was incredibly accommodating and accepting. Part of the reason I have an undercut is because my hair grows very uneven in the back and often just shaving it off is the best way to go. This is the tidiest the back of my head has ever been and the most evenly cut as well. I was a walk in and the person didn’t charge me this time, that said I’ll be back again in three weeks and hopefully be leaving a nice tip.
