While visiting town I dropped in on a Wednesday night NoGi class. Immediately greeted with a smile and made comfortable, great class and instruction by Coach Allen then some super tough and fun rolls after. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. So should you.
I've been learning Jiu Jitsu from Andre and all the instructors here for the past 1.5 years and am extremely grateful and blessed for the opportunity to train with them in Chicago.
There's a lot of Jiu Jitsu gyms in Chicago. What, in my opinion separates Double Five from the rest is the more personal attention and coaching. While the school is large, the instructors very much care about taking you under their wing and ensuring you get the instruction you need on your journey. The culture is serious, and supportive. Very much a community gym as well - I don't have kids, but will say the kids program is thriving.

10/10. Super family oriented. They push your kids to do better. I watched my son go from shy to confident in a matter of a few classes. The end of class speeches are motivational and family focused. Everyone here is a pleasure to be around!
