I was just discharged from Diamond Headache inpatient program after 8 days and I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the staff at the front desk, to all the med techs, nurses and physicians they all work very hard and are so accommodating. Highly recommend if you have chronic migraines like me, make an appointment with Dr. Nissan, his truly the best of the best. The inpatient program is top notch and they are willing to change things up if one medicine doesn’t work for you. Knowing the conditions knowing I will battle migraines for ever, but having Dr Nissan and his inpatient staff, I will have no problem making another trip up there to get what is... read full review
I was a patient of Diamond Headache Clinic for about 10 years. My migraines haven’t been helped by any of the medications prescribed so I decided to do impatient treatment in hopes that something will work. I had a horrible experience!
First, they had to redo my IV five times over the course of my 1 week stay which was very painful. Then the medications they gave me jacked up my blood pressure to alarmingly high rates. It’s a wonder I didn’t have a stroke. I also saw a rheumatologist while I was there because I had a lot of inflammation. Later the rheumatologist told me it was like my insides were on fire. Well, I normally don't leave Yelp reviews, but since this place's rating is so low I feel compelled to describe my experience which is overall positive. I've suffered from frequent migraines since I was 18 or 19, so about 10 years. For the first five years or so, it would usually take me out for about 24 hours. Usually, after a night of sleep, it would be gone. But as time went on, they got worse. It went from 24-hour migraines to 48-hour migraines, then 72-hour migraines, then sometimes even longer.
