Great price compare what I was going to buy at Menards. Small store serving installers I suppose on Elston, but effective. Called on the phone and was given a great price - one fourth of what I would have spent elsewhere for the unfinished oak flooring that I need for repair.

We have used Chicago Hardwood Flooring services twice to do extensive work on our two properties laying new hardwood flooring and refinishing the existing hardwood floors sanding and applying a new stain. We have been extremely happy with their work. They are very diligent, organized and their work is top quality. On both occasions, they came on time and finished their work earlier than they promised. Vasile is outstanding with his experience, knowledge and is very easy to work with. We would highly recommend their services without hesitation.

I had a small project but it was sort of technical and needed some advice. I was trying the dreaded hardwood floor patch job since about 30 sq ft had become warped due to water damage. The employee was quick to quote me a price on the red oak I needed over the phone, and helped correct me on how many bundles i needed. He also helped me make sure which length and width I would need as well as confirm the type of oak based on my sample I brought in. I avoided having to strap the bundles on my hood of my car, because the guy had good spacial awareness and figured out how to load them into my front seat even with my table saw in back seat. They have a convenient loading area. Best of all, better prices than a big box store. Only thing I had to myself was figure out how to match the stain but he did indicate that there was some yellowing in the finish due to discoloring of varnish over the years which made that task easier for me.
