The best in the business for mission-driven staffing. Working with them over the years has provided me with invaluable experience in communications and development, giving me a competitive edge at other organizations. Once selected, the process moves efficiently and quickly, from the interview(s) to scheduling your first day, weekly pay, networking at placement sites, and a mutually beneficial connection with your recruiters. It is a clear choice whether to break into the sector, pursue a swift full-time placement, or seek part-time work for additional income at a cause-based org.
Let CNP do the heavy lifting for you!
Wow, I'm surprised to read all these mixed reviews. I have to say that I love this place. They got me a job within a week of applying. Sure, it's not enough income to pay my rent, but it's experience and some money in a very challening job market. My 2 contacts are responsive to my e-mails, and I couldn't be ANY happier. Yes, it's tough to apply to other roles, but it's been tough in general with finding work in Chicago. It's a tough market that's been a real downer for me, but I can't say enough nice things about this agency. I've had some awful experiences, but this place brought back my faith that a recruiter CAN be on your side. I hope to continue with them for all my work. THANK YOU!!
For over 15 years, I've worked through 7 temp agencies on-and-off during college, into my first career position after I relocated for my wife to attend grad school, and after returning from the Peace Corps when we relocated to Chicago. Other agencies I've worked for in Chicago kept me busy with lower-level clerical work, but CNP landed me a full-time career position with a mid-size foundation attached to one of the largest trade associations in the country. One of my friends was also able to find work in his field after only a few months of looking. I agree with other reviews that I had to aggressively pursue as many postings as I could, tailor my resume to each, and remain in contact as I saw positions listed on the Facebook page. Eventually, a position came up that I was a good suit for and they called me to ask if I was interested. It was a temp job that I was able to build into a full-time career position, and they helped me land it. Since then, I have brought on other CNP temps to help with my clerical work and have been extremely impressed with the results after disappointments with another agency. In fact, I know if I want a qualified temp, all I need to do is call CNP. And if I find myself on the job market again anytime soon, Abby will be the first to know.
