I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Clark! Her and her team are so good with both of my dogs, even my spicy Chihuahua. I can’t imagine taking my dogs anywhere else

The staff at Belmont Animal Hospital took such good care of my dog during their emergency hours Saturday afternoon. I found a laceration on his leg after he was playing in the backyard. Allie got me in right away, Gracie took such good care of Capo in the exam room, and Dr. Pack got him sutured up and ready to go. I can’t recommend their emergency services enough!

The service is great but you’re lucky if you’re even able to get an appointment. Part of the problem is just getting in touch with someone - in the fall I attempted to use the appointment request form online and just never heard back. I was eventually able to get in touch over the phone but it still took several weeks to coordinate the drop off of a fecal sample when my condo literally touches their building. Then on 12/11 I called to make an appointment for my dog for something not urgent but that did need to be looked at. I was told I could either pay extra for an emergency appointment or call back in January. Well I called back in January and was told Dr. Clark does her own scheduling and it wasn’t possible to get an appointment with her. They did offer me one two weeks in the future with the associate vet which is fine (that wasn’t even offered before) but still is 2 weeks out. If you’re not an existing client I wouldn’t even bother reaching out. It sounds like there’s an exclusive group of long term clients that get full priority over new or recent clients. If you know Dr. Clark you can schedule with her directly but if you don’t you can’t schedule with her by calling their phone number. I was so excited to move in right next to them but it feels like it’s time to look into other vets in the area. While I appreciate the business’s nothing was said as to how to schedule Dr. Clark which I have been told multiple times over the last month isn’t possible at this time. They say I could come over right that second but I’m not just able to come at the drop of a hat.

Dr. Clark and the whole team at Belmont Animal Hospital are amazing. My dog had to have emergency dental surgery and Dr. Clark and Pamela were incredibly supportive and communicative throughout the whole process. As someone who pays out of pocket for my dog’s medical expenses I appreciated how transparent they were about the costs and sought my approval for each step of the way. Dr. Clark is extremely empathic and really had my dog’s (and my) well-being in mind. THANK YOU BELMONT ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!

The best vet ever! My dog is very skiddish and can be difficult to examine but Dr Clark is the most patient and caring woman! She genuinely cares about my dog's comfort and wellness. I recommend her to absolutely everyone!

Dr. Marcia and team are EXCELLENT. When my partner and I adopted our pup, we were referred by a friend. Due to his adoption, we have limited health history. Dr. Marcia provides excellent education of all things to consider, what interventions are available and triages levels with pet parents in a way that is informative, warm and kind. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Trust them with your little guys, you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Clark and her team are AMAZING and we will miss them so much (we moved out of state otherwise I'd stay with this team forever)! They loved our dog Mila and gave her the best care, were always available for questions and really attentive in their care-plans for anything that came up. Thanks for a few years of the best vet care, I hope our paths cross soon!

Dr. Clark is great and extremely caring with your animal, but this does not make up for the extreme lack of professionalism by the staff at this establishment.I brought my dog here in March to establish care and get an opinion on a dental cleaning. This was a great appointment, so I scheduled a follow up for all of her vaccines - another appointment that went relatively well. They did bring in a list of charges before the appointment was over and I had to clarify that my dog did not actually need half of the vaccines on the list - which they would have known if they had any sort of reliable tracking information for previous medical history. This was slightly concerning because if there HAD been something she did not need and received a double dose of, I would be paying extra and putting my pet through that for no reason.Even still, this was not too off-putting, so I continued to schedule my dog for a dental cleaning. I received multiple confirmation emails and phone calls for this appointment. Similar to any other doctor/dentist/etc appointment, these phone calls and emails did not say anywhere that I needed to call the office and confirm the appointment again. When I called to schedule the first time, that seemed to be all that was needed - if it wasn’t, their reminder emails were extremely unclear. The day of her dental cleaning, I fasted her for twelve hours, went to take her to their office and called that morning because they had not provided clear instruction on drop off time. I had received three different time frames to drop her off. When I called, they told me they had no record of her appointment - upon further investigation after me providing several receipts of her appointment, they informed me that because I didn’t call them back (even though I received several notifications that this appointment was confirmed) they gave her appointment away. Beyond this office having strange business hours, it is almost impossible to get someone on the phone who has any idea what they are talking about. While I did attempt to call several times to get clarity on drop of times, dental pricing estimates, etc. I was told multiple times that they would “look into it and call me back,” only for me to never receive a callback and when I phoned again, they acted as if they had never spoken to me before and I was starting all over every single time I called. I understand there can be mixups, but I no longer trusted this office to be responsible for putting my pet under anesthesia. When I called several weeks later to get her records transferred to a new vet, it seems they have completely deleted her file! This is extremely careless as now I would have NO proof that my pet has had her vaccinations if I hadn’t personally saved email receipts they sent to me.Extremely unprofessional and unreliable office staff. A shame because Dr.Clark is incredible, but there are bare minimum expectations a business should be able to provide and maintain. Think twice before choosing this vet.
