I had a great experience with Louis at Barak Studios! I emailed him about some Hebrew lettering and he was able to do everything that I wanted to do in one session. He did both print and cursive and helped find the perfect placements for all 3 tattoos. One was a bit more challenging to figure out how it would move with my body and not be upside down and he gave me his honest and professional opinion and I love it! He was great to talk to and made me very comfortable even adjusting the AC in the studio so I didn’t freeze

First and foremost, he’s an amazing artist. His pieces that fill the studio are striking, moving, and unique. The creativity in the room is palpable. I really liked that it was his own space. It creates a very private, personal vibe.
I couldn’t be happier with how the tattoo turned out. It’s a masterpiece. The idea I came to him with is based on an abstract oil painting by Richard M. Powers. This was my first tattoo and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Louis was super clear about the entire process and patiently answered all of my (many) questions. He really understood what I was looking for in my design, and his excitement and passion came through in every step.
I felt completely comfortable the whole time, he was easy to talk to and made the whole thing feel like catching up with an old friend.
