I'm finally writing a review about this God awful establishment. I worked here years and years ago as a massage therapist and it traumatized me. They are cold-hearted cons who are only concerned with image. I was constantly harassed about what I wore, how I looked etc. If they deemed I sighed too much, they would inform me that, "in Korea sighing is a sign of disrespect." Several times I was compared to other people as an example of how to behave. It is family owned and operated and literally every member of this gang (at least the ones I met, including the grandparents) is callous and cruel. I would overhear them saying nasty things about me. I was cornered in a dark room and "chastised" about being to work on time. I was 21, a baby in the massage game at the time, no family in Chicago and was eager to use my mt license to provide for myself. They tried to stop my bag daily. As if their mistreatment of employees is not enough, they only cared about the clientele that was well-off and white. Everyone else...The fact is: these people made life hell for me at the time. They are tyrants. The whole lot of them. I said what I said.
Balancing Point was my Cheers for awhile. Late last year I was dealing with a severe episode of sciatic nerve pain. I was receiving treatment about twice a week, for 2 months. I never had a negative experience here.First of all, the space feels more like a spa then a doctor's office. I found this relaxing. Everyone from the receptionists to therapists was always very friendly and professional!Dr Keith is funny, friendly, and he was always very concerned about my progress. He made sure I was getting better, and made suggestions for treatments based on my specific needs. He really cares about his patients.Ning was great for acupuncture!Eva and Jack gave intense massage therapy, but I always felt loose and relaxed afterwards.I went from barely able to walk to regular workouts. I credit BP for most of this!
I haven't done any treatments yet but I have been trying to make an appointment for almost a week. I called first time and left a voicemail but no one got back to me. I called again and I was told they are going to call be back but no one did. I called 2 more times but still no appointment .
