I was down the street at another salon but decided to try this place because I was in a hurry and there was too many people. My mom walked over to this salon and asked if she was busy. She was the only person there she told her she only had one man coming in later on and her place was empty. We go but my kids who hate haircuts refused to go in. When they finally did decide which was not even 2 minutes later we knock the lady refuses to even open the door and just stuck her face out and turned us away. Apparently she picks and chooses who her customers are. VERY rude to refuse business from a customer willing to pay. I was VERY upset. Went RIGHT BACK to my usual salon... read full review

The place is modern and clean (newly remodeled) and the owner is kind and experienced. You cannot get better value or a better salon experience anywhere else in Chicago. A hidden gem in Gage Park.
